Tyka Nelson, Prince’s Sister, Releases a New Video, “End of the Road” Featuring Rare Prince Family Photos

Like the rest of the Worldwide Purple Family, our staff and friends here at soulhead are mourning the loss of Prince but on today, what would have been his 59th birthday, we are all rejoicing in the love he brought into our lives.  Recently, we learned of a video that had surfaced from Prince’s sister, Tyka.  The video which features a new song by Nelson, takes the viewer through her early life with Prince and family.  It is definitely emotional to watch and we are sure the Purple fam will have a lot to say about.  “Old Friends 4 Sale” or no?

According to Entainment Weekly, “Nelson and Apollo V wrote the song, while Empire executive producer Sanaa Hamri directed the video. A longtime friend of Prince’s, she also directed the clip for his 2004 song “Musicology.”
