Snoop Dogg Shares A Funny Story about Stevie Wonder with Elliott Wilson at #CRWN

Earlier this week, we were excited to be a part of the latest CRWN interview by Elliott Wilson with Snoop Dogg. The event, which has built quite a reputation for its in-depth and often comedic conversations, was held this past Monday, August 8, at the Highline Ballroom in the Chelsea section of New York City. Like other interviews in the series, this discussion touched on Snoop’s career, community service, his love of everything hemp and even a bit of politics.  This particular story lays out the situation that occurred when Snoop collaborated with Stevie Wonder and Pharrell Williams on the track “California Roll” from his Bush LP.

We have always been fans of Snoop Dogg and have always supported his work and this interview only solidified our love for this brother. Not only does he continue to make quality music (peep his latest joint Coolaid which is fiyah!), but he has branched out as a business…man. Similar to his West Side brethren, Ice Cube, he has really evolved his image from his early years. We are really proud to see this and look forward to more from him in the future. Kudos to Elliott Wilson for his ability to ask the right questions which kept the conversation engaging from beginning to end.
