Brooklyn’s Annual BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival Offers Something for Everyone [FULL SCHEDULE]

Anyone who has been to New York City during the Summer knows there is no shortage of great free events to attend. From Central Park Summerstage, Harlem Week and many other notable festivals, there is literally something to check out every week and weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This year is no different.

Brooklyn’s BRIC, which stands for Brooklyn Information & Culture, organizes this amazing series of free shows throughout the borough (primarily at the Prospect Park Bandshell) to the delight of music fans from all over the World. From the opening grooves of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Gregory Porter, Afro-beat star Femi Kuti, Andra Day, and reunited hip-hop trio Digable Planets, this Summer will be an incredible time.
