After peeping the amazing TVOne Unsung documentary on Heavy D. & The Boyz, we had to do a little more digging in celebration of Throwback Thursday. In the doc, truly Unsung producer and member of Heavy D. & The Boyz, DJ Eddie F discusses one of his solo projects, DJ Eddie F and the Untouchables. One track that made waves on the album was “Let’s Get It On” which featured an impressive posse including 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Heavy D. and Grand Puba. As discussed in Unsung, it was the only time you would hear Heavy D. and Notorious B.I.G. on the same track and one of the few times Biggie and Pac were on the same song.
