Whose Version of “Hello, It’s Me” is Better? Todd Rundgren’s or The Isley Brothers’? [VIDEOS] @toddrundgren @TheRealRonIsley @fatbellybella

Over the past couple of weeks, the World has been buzzing about the recent mixtape release by Erykah Badu, But You Cain’t Use My Phone. The collection of songs centers around a telephone theme and includes a duet with Badu’s baby’s daddy, André 3000 called “Hello.” The song, which features an intro rap by the latter, was originally recorded by folk rocker Todd Rundgren in 1972 and then covered by The Isley Brothers two years later in 1974. We like all versions but are always looking for the opinion of our Worldwide community of soulheads. Which version do you like best?
