This 7-track project from the R&B artist Tinashe comes only a few months after her debut album Aquarius and features production from Ryan Hemsworth, DJ Dahi, and Ritz Reynolds, to name a few. The mixtape is the result of Tinashe’s bedroom studio sessions over the past Christmas break. Amethyst is named after Tinashe’s birthstone and is meant to be a “thank you gift” to her fans for always believing in her.
