We love it when R&B is unassuming and simply tasteful. Jules Jones’ album Soulmate is just that. The Berkeley, CA based artist has the sexy smooth high tenor voice that we have come to expect of R&B male crooners. Most songs have a modern sound a la Trey Songz, but there a few tracks that take us back (like “Spirit” and “Dual Levitation”). Indeed, he even has some smoky ballads.
