We are INSANELY exited to hear this return of one of the most unique MC’s to ever do it, Mystikal. Coming of a “college vacation”, this brother storms back with a massive James Brown-esque groove that has to hit big. Based on his flow, some have made the parallels between Mystikal and the Godfather of Soul, whos Soul Survivor documentary was featured last night. The “Shake it Fast” brother has a serous groove on his hands and we are totally on board and digging this homage to Soul Brother #1, James Brown (and Michael Jackson if you count the undercurrent of Dont Stop ‘Till You Get Enough), which features a live band. LOVE!!!
