Many of us are still grieving the death of Adam Yauch, MCA from the Beastie Boys, who died May 5 of cancer. So it was very timely that we learned of this video from hip hop pioneer Davey D. The Beastie Boys filmed an unreleased musical performance of “The New Style” for the 3rd season (which never aired) of “Chappelle’s Show” in the fall of 2004. Check this incredible footage which was performed on a boat in the East River of New York City not far from soulhead.com’s DUMBO office location.
