teena marie she truly one of the best singers ever!!!!! her music really touched my heart. my children i raised them on her music and my grand childern!! she will be missed but. i will allways play her songs. heaven has a true angel she is now singing in heavens with the other greats that have passed on

this email is in memory of teena marie . when i first heard “dejavu” i thought for sure that it was a black woman singing that song. then someone bought the album and brought it over. wow it was a white woman. singing with more soul than any white woman i have ever heard. one of my cousins was absolutely crazy about teena marie in the 1980’s. he used to play “square biz” and ” portugese love” over and over very loudly on th record player i might add. i remember the last time i saw teena marie on tv. she was one of the singers to pay tribute to smokey robinson on a pbs special. she sanged “ooh baby,baby” . she was really good. about two weeks before her death i heard “dejavu” on the radio. i don’t know if it was fate or i don’t know but i have not heard that song in a long time. i pray that she is at peace. i pray that she is at home with our heavenly father. and like the song says. ” thank god she is not coming back no more” from a verse in “dejavu”
