After arriving at Soulheadquarters this morning and heading over to ReBar, a very popular bar/restaurant/cafe in DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass for those not familiar with this area) for my morning machiatto only to find signs proclaiming it closed apparently for some health or mental hygiene issue. Um, we would like to expose our ignorance here, but what in the heck is Mental Hygiene? Given the fact that their website informs visitors that Rebar will be closed next weekend for weddings, we hope they are able to get this under control. In any case, we are big fans of ReBar and wish them the best.
UPDATE: Apparently, ReBar is planning to reopen tomorrow, Thursday, July 21 according to this tweet:
UPDATE: We went by today, Friday, July 22, 10:00 and it looked like the cafe downstairs was unchained, which was a good site.
