As we all dig in to the reality of self quarantining and endless hours of cabin fever, everyone is looking for a little bit of an escape. The past few nights, DJ’s like D-Nice, Premier and Kid Capri (among others) has been uplifting the World with their superb blend of hip-hop, soul, funk and so many other genres.
This morning, we woke to a super cool video by Rita Wilson (Tom Hanks’s) wife. She unexpectedly killed this impromptu performance of Naughty By Nature’s classic “Hip-Hop Hooray.” She begins the session by revealing that she is reading a copy of Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card and then proceeds to rip the track verse for verse alongside Treach and Vin from Naughty. It was quite impressive and really fun to watch. While she and hubby are quarantined after testing positive to the Coronavirus recently, we are looking forward more bars being spit.
