Pink Grenade is not your average hip hop band. Combined they possess elements of soul, of R&B, of rock and pop. The yare about as diverse a band as ever, covering different genders, races, and ages. But in them you hear something that in this music age is so often missing : authenticity. This is not a band pursuing a sound but instead are creating one. “3 Days in LA” could be called a folk story retelling, or a jazz tribute, or just some hip, indie type groove. But none of that quite captures this song’s essence. It is new, and inspired. We cannot wait to see what Pink Grenade does to the music scene!
