We are proud to support the latest endeavor by soulhead contributor and friend Adrian Loving, who is teaming up with former one of the most influential Go-Go performers (former lead of the legendary Rare Essence band and work with the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown and others) of our time, James Funk, for a weekly exploration of soul music throughout the decades, House of Soul. This 2 hour show, which runs from 5pm – 7pm each Saturday stateside, will be a must listen each week. Fans of DJs like Gilles Peterson and Garth Trinidad will certainly want to check this out.
If this past week’s show, which featured a splendid mix of old and new, including Black Heat, The Young Senators, Chaka Khan, The Isley Brothers and The Average White Band to name a few, is any indication of what is to come, we will be tuned in each week.
